Sameer Hill is a hill inside our IIT Bombay campus known for the beautiful view of the city from top! It is a go-to destination for all the instizens for a quick rejuvenating trek. Every year we host a photowalk for all the freshmen for their maiden trip to the Sameer hill. Check out some photographs of it below!

Dhobi Ghat

Dhobi Ghat (Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat) is an open air laundromat in Mumbai, India. The washers, known as dhobis, work in the open to clean clothes and linens from Mumbai's hotels and hospitals. It was constructed in 1890 and has become a paradise for clicking amazing images with motion, blurs and ambient lighting ever since. Check out some snaps from our photowalk!

Bhandup Bird Trail

It’s difficult to imagine the beauty and grace of the Mangrove forest in the heart of the busy Metropolitan City in Mumbai. Bhandup Pumping station is home to many migratory and local birds species and they are often present in large numbers. One can enjoy the foggy sunrise which also gives some great opportunity to click some wonderful images of the birds, especially the Flamingos!

Dadar Flower Market

Dadar Flower Market is Mumbai's biggest wholesale flower market. It opens at 4 a.m. and sells over 500kgs of flowers everyday. The best time of day to go to the Dadar flower market is early in the morning, when the flowers arrive and the streets are bustling with flower sellers and their flowers.

Ganpati Pooja - Parel

Just before Ganesh Chaturthi, we had organised a photowalk to Parel to click the beautiful idols of Ganpati. It was indeed a surreal experience listening to the chants of the crowd and witnessing the majestic idols being moved across the road. Check out some snaps from it below!
